Emma Brown Designs would like to introduce you to her copyrighted characters named Pepe the Mexican Donkey, Penny the English Sheep Dog and Pedro the Toucan from Southern Mexico. Pepe the Donkey has a special magic flying carpet that sits on his back, this is used for the three friends to fly to many parts of the world to pick up beautiful textiles to learn techniques throughout the world. Long Term Forecasting AW17-18

With Fashion Trends the Androgynous look is becoming more key and a great trend to represent this is Banjee Grunge (advertised by the British Trend Council) for unique young women who love to wear my personal favourite basics such as the hoodie and boyfriend jeans with a surprising twist. For myself working on this Young Women's Collection I added a romantic twist with a lithograph bloom surface repeat print which is a move on from the digital dark blooms with pops of purple throughout the pieces. I personally think that a tone of purple will become the pantone colour of the year for 2018! I designed this collection 2 weeks before the showing of London Fashion Week and I am certainly on track with this collection when referring to Ashley Williams Collection, I am loving the lithograph blooms printed shirt with the exaggerated sleeves styled with a classic boyfriend jean. Look out exaggerated sleeves are going to be key in many collections to come and I personally love love them bring them on, I have them added on the hoodie within my version of the Banjee Grunge Trend.

A blast from the past

As I am busy being busy here is a toddler Girls SS graphic of a cheeky Flamingo that I designed in the past that I think you will appreciate taking a peek, especially as Flamingos are all the rage again. This fun pink Flamingo was an application of appliqué, embroidery and crochet set onto a printed background that has had an enzyme wash.
