Emma Brown is an experienced professional Freelance Designer specialising in Fashion and Textiles, for swim, accessories and apparel clothing design and development for Baby, Toddler, Children and Women in the retail industry. Her graduation was from Central Saint Martins London in Knitwear with Womenswear Design in 2001 with a 2.1 degree, her skills were further developed through producing collections for Adams, Boots, Carrefour, Debenhams, Dunnes, Disney, Early Learning Centre, George, Hamleys, John Lewis, La Senza, LC Waikiki, Littlewoods, Mini Klub, Mothercare, Next, Noon by Noor, Poetic Gem, Sainsburys, Tesco, Travis Designs Ltd for Harrods, Watermelon, Woolworths, Zoggs through suppliers or direct contact.

Through working for all of these companies Emma has gained an International Designer status, learning to work with people from all over the world with now a total of 22 years experience; 8 of those years as a Freelancer. Two of these years Emma was contracted to a Baby, Toddler and Children’s brand in India named Mini Klub as Head of Design with 6 of those months living in India to take the brands handwriting in Design to the next level which made a significant increase in sales; and developed the Design team of 6 Designers with further skills in Design / Development. From this she has developed strong working relationships with factories in Europe, India and the Far East as a result. She prides herself on her attention to detail in product briefs and the ability to build strong capsule designs using research from future trends in silhouette, colour and textile application. Emma project manages briefs from large to small, and gives clear direction on how to build and style a label for those who are beginners working with appropriate trends for their target customer profile. Her strong handwriting in clothing, textile design and technical skills are combined with an exceptionally friendly and personable approach.
